Had a great week in radioland with Ricky Gervais and ahem, McFly on the Breakfast Show this week and I also had the pleasure of working with Tom Robinson’s Introducing Show up at 6 music on Wednesday. Tom’s a brilliant bloke and so passionate in supporting new bands. We need more like him.
Over the weekend, I went to a new fastival, Vintage at Goodward and decided that I was completely underdressed. Need to work on that for next year. I was really impressed with the Noisettes, which was a nice suprise.
Not so nice, considering my vertigo, was doing the jump at Worthing Birdman this weekend. It was made harder when TV presenter Holly Walsh was carted off to hospital after landing awkwardly in the water. Just what you need prior to jumping.
Anyway, Holly was fine (what’s a dislocated shoulder eh?) and I did mine unscathed, raising over a £1,000 for Chestnut Treehouse.
