Well it’s been quite a week in sunny Brighton. Went to see the Pet Shop Boys on Monday. Didn’t really occur to me that it might be something to check out until I heard the rave reviews at Glasto (I was watching Muse). I was not dissapointed. Great show, visuals, dancers and Chris Lowe actually moved a bit.
Last night I was down at Tony Hawk and Friends skateboarding show on Brighton seafront, rounded off by an hour long set from Maximo Park. The kids (and Dad’s) went crazy for Hawky but I was more impressed with a former Wimbledon Champion in the shape of Pat Cash standing patiently in the ‘meet and greet’ cue. He’s still got a little of the mullet but he pulls it off.
